Confederation Of Tourism, Hotel & Catering Management (CTHCM) The Confederation was established in 1982 to provide recognised standards of management and vocational training appropriate to the needs of the hotel and travel industries, via its syllabi, examinations and awards. CTHCM are the only established specialist professional body in the UK focusing on the training needs of new entrants to the hospitality and tourism industries. The CTHCM Programmes are recognised by major organisations in the hospitality and tourism industries as suitable for employment at supervisory and management level.
